My name is Pauline Wong and I am a Canadian born and raised Chinese. My family and friends would describe me as outgoing and outspoken with a side of quirkiness, an adventurer, adrenaline junkie, nerdy bookworm, shopaholic who loves bargains, and Marvel fan. I am addicted to cake, ice cream, plushies, all things mermaid, and travel. I am happily married to my soul mate, Radwin, and the mother of two sometimes wonderful, sometimes headache inducing children, Jordan and Evelyn.
I started this travel blog to document and share my travel stories from around the globe and in our beautiful backyard.
Radwin and I caught the travel bug when we were dating. It started with a short one-week trip to San Francisco (our first out-of-country vacation together), followed by a tour of Japan beginning in Tokyo and ending in Kyoto, then my first time to southeast Asia to meet Radwin's extended family.
When Radwin and I got married in 2011 and started a family, it never occurred to us that we would stop travelling. There is so much we have yet to see. I want our children to see beyond our backyard, learn about history outside of books, experience different cultures, and meet the beautiful people of this world through travel.
Fortunately, Radwin and I both have full-time non-travel jobs that provide generous annual leave. So every year, we (mostly me!) will pick a destination or two, take our kids out of school, if needed, and off we go!
Where I've Been
I have traveled to 12 countries and 75 cities across four continents, some multiple times. My kids have travelled to nearly all of them (as noted with an *).
