Location
Located on the corner of Elk Street and Banff Avenue, the hotel is steps from the quaint streets, restaurants and shopping of downtown Banff. After extensive renovations in 2016, the Elk + Avenue Hotel emerged as one of Banff's most modern and stylish hotels.

Lobby
You are greeted with beautiful rustic décor the moment you step into the hotel. The lobby was very welcoming and the staff were friendly. Check-in was super easy and check-out was completely contactless.

Pursuit Adventure Centre is conveniently located to the left of the lobby for those who want to complete their Canadian Rockies' experience with an adventure package. The centre also offers a unique selection of snacks, gift items, and souvenirs.
Two Queens Room
Our room was clean and spacious, and the bed were super comfortable. I love the contemporary and minimalistic design—it gives the room an airy and calming feel. All rooms come with free wi-fi, a flat screen TV, mini fridge and a Nepresso. Our room faced south so we had a gorgeous view of Sulphur Mountain.
The hotel also offers upgraded rooms with added space. Suites feature a sitting room and private sleeping space while loft rooms feature a separate sitting room, a desk and work area, and an upper loft bedroom.
Amenities & Dining Options
Amenities include complimentary heated parking, jacuzzi and dry sauna (which was closed during our stay due to covid), ski storage, on-site casual farm-to-table restaurant, a chic cocktail lounge, and a seasonal deck with mountain views. Coin-operated laundry facilities also available.
The Elk + Avenue Hotel welcome pets of all sizes with a complimentary package that includes pet bed, water, food dish, treat and pet bag.
Conclusion
We loved our stay at the Elk + Avenue Hotel and can't wait for our next visit to Banff!
